Well we are in the final stretch. Since the last blog a lot has happened. Doug and I decided on a name for our little miracle. We decided on Brayden Douglas Klutzke. Doug picked the first name and I picked the middle. Also Doug got at job down in Dallas Texas with L3 and they wanted him right away even though we had hoped to wait till Brayden was born. So off we were to Dallas Texas. I was able to transfer my medical records down to a physician and set up an appointment thanks to great advice from my Aunt Sally. After the first appointment with our new physician Doug and I were very pleased with the care we received. They went ahead and scheduled me for weekly non-stress tests after each appointment until Brayden is born. Because he is a big boy they want to monitor his movement and heart rate on a weekly basis. I have done 2 so far and Brayden has scored 8 out of 8, which is great! I had a sonogram done this past Wednesday as well. Brayden is weighing over 6 pounds already at 35 weeks 4 days. A bit on the big side, but Brayden’s heart looks excellent as well as his brain, kidneys, stomach, and umbilical cord! Now we just need to decide if induction is the way to go to avoid a cesarean birth. I was for sure at this point he would be moving around a lot less, but not Brayden. I have become his personal punching/kicking bag. I really don’t mind though, I love the reassurance. He has also been having the hiccups like crazy. My instinct wants me to be able to burp him and help but all I can do is sit back and feel him hiccupping. So I am in my final weeks now. Doug and I move into our new home on Monday. We leased a house for a year so that we could sell the house up in Wichita which is currently under contract. Yeah. Everything has been falling into place. I am so excited to meet this little guy. I just can’t believe how fast this pregnancy went. We have been so blessed with everything that has happened this past year. I am so excited to become a mommy and to see Doug holding our little bundle of joy. Hopefully the next blog will be news of Brayden joining the world!
