Baby's First Picture

Today was so amazing I can't even put it into words. Doug and I got to see our little baby and its heart! It was just fluttering away. The timing of this pregnancy has been confusing. Because I am not normal, hehe, i have a long cycle and therefore the weeks have been off when calculating how far along I am. I was actually lucky enough to find out I was pregnant at only 4 weeks when according to my LMP date I should have been 6 weeks. So this picture shows the baby at about 7 to 8 weeks along. My RN says my HCG levels perfectly match to the baby's progression. She also said the heart beat looked good and strong. So I guess my due date is going to be around October 17th! This is still changeable but for now that's what my RN wants to say. She also gave a prescription for my nausea. I am one of fortunate ones who does not just get it in the morning but ALL day! Hopefully it will ease the queasiness and help me continue my daily activities. My next appointment is on the 31st and I am meeting with my Doctor for my 12 wk to hear the heartbeat!! I am so excited!
